Hit my 100th writing prompt today and it felt weirdly heavy

I've been doing prompts from this sub almost every morning for like 8 months, just to get words down before work. Today I counted and it was exactly 100, which sounds small but I never stick with anything past 20. The prompt itself was about a time capsule and I wrote a scene from my grandma's kitchen in 1987, which I'd never touched before. That surprised me, that the milestone pushed me somewhere new instead of just repeating old ideas. Has anyone else hit a number like that and seen their writing shift because of it?

Ha, 100 mornings and your brain finally decided to switch things up on you. That time capsule prompt must have cracked something loose, because we usually just churn out the same three memories on autopilot. The real shift is probably that you stopped trying to write well and just wrote what was actually sitting there, you know? Hit 100 more and you might start digging into stuff you didn't even know you remembered, which is honestly the scariest and best part about doing this regularly.
