The $35 plot hole notebook that turned my messy draft around
I bought a giant dedicated notebook just for tracking timelines and character details after my beta reader in Portland pointed out my protagonist aged 3 years in one week, so now I sketch every scene's date and location before I write it, and has anyone else tried a separate continuity journal or do you just wing it?

Ditch the fancy notebook and just write the dates on a sticky note stuck to your monitor. Cheaper and it falls off when you're done ignoring it, which is basically the same system I use.
