Why does nobody talk about how a $7 prompt journal changed my whole writing routine
I grabbed a cheap spiral notebook at a Walgreens in Tulsa about 4 months ago just to jot down random story ideas, and it turned into the best $7 I've ever spent on my writing. Before that I'd open a doc, stare at it, and close it. Something about scribbling a prompt like 'a locksmith who can't open his own front door' on paper and crossing it out when I use it makes the ideas actually stick. My only rule is one prompt per page and no editing, just get it down. Does anyone else keep a paper prompt list, or am I the only one still doing this by hand?
