Serious question, did I really need a password manager or was I just being lazy?
I put off getting a password manager for 2 years because I thought my system of writing passwords in a notebook next to my desk was fine. Then last month my email got hit with a login attempt from Brazil at 3am, and I spent the next 6 hours resetting every single account I owned. After that mess I finally set up a manager with a 20 character master passphrase, and it took me about 45 minutes total to move all 40 something logins over. The thing that sold me was the built in checker that showed 11 of my passwords were reused across banking and shopping sites. Two factor on top of that and I sleep a lot better now. What finally got you folks to switch, or are some of you still running the notebook system?
