Can we talk about how I went from 6 loads a week to 2 and my clothes are cleaner?
I used to toss everything in the hamper after one wear, which meant about 6 loads every 7 days, and half of it was stuff that barely touched my body. Now I hang shirts on a hook by the closet and sniff the pits before they go in the basket, and I'm down to 2 loads. Started doing this after a $60 electric bill in August made me stare at my dryer like it owed me money. Jeans get 3 or 4 wears before a wash now, and they stopped fading so fast. Has anyone else cut back like this and felt weirdly proud of a smaller laundry pile?
