Had to choose between fixing the AC myself or calling a pro today in July heat
I spent 3 hours watching YouTube videos and swapped a capacitor for $18 instead of paying $350 for a service call, and my house finally got below 80 degrees around 8 PM, does anyone else gamble on DIY repairs when the weather gets brutal?

Calculate that out hourly and suddenly $110 an hour sounds pretty worth it for some people's time. Time is money, right?
