Vent: I tried two ways of sorting my kid's baseball cards and one was way easier
So my son has about 800 cards in a shoebox and I tried sorting them by team name first, which took me almost an hour and I still had piles everywhere. Then I dumped the whole box out again and sorted by card number instead, and it took 20 minutes flat with no leftover stacks. The number thing just works because every card has one, but I kept second guessing team names and guys who got traded. My wife thinks I'm nuts for doing it twice, but at least it's done now. What do you all sort by when you help your kids with their collections?
