Got called out for shooting the whole Sears wing with my phone flash on, and the guy was right
I posted a set from the empty Sears wing at Eastview Mall in Victor, NY last month and somebody in the comments asked why I blasted everything with flash. Told me the flash was killing the dust and the dark corners that make these places feel dead. I was annoyed at first. Went back two nights later with the flash off and a cheap tripod, bumped the ISO instead, and the shots finally looked like the mall actually feels. Curious what settings you all run in these dark anchor stores, because I'm still figuring it out.
