TIL I've done 1,400 oil changes on the same two lifts in Gary, Indiana over 7 years
The number hit me when the service writer added up my work orders last Friday, and it made me think about how much I've learned about which drain plugs strip out. Curious what mileage numbers other guys are sitting at on their main bay.

Man 1400 on the same two lifts is wild. That's not just a number, that's your back and your wrists paying for it every single day. I feel you on the drain plug thing too, you start to know which models are gonna fight you before you even get the wrench on there. Seven years in one shop in Gary is no joke either, that town will test you. Respect for grinding it out like that, most guys burn out way before they hit that kind of count. Hope those lifts still got some life left in em cause you earned it.
