Took me 4 months to realize my ratchet strap method was the problem after watching a guy in Dallas load a skid steer in 2 minutes flat
I was always fighting with tangled straps and broken tensioners until I saw that guy hook his straps from the frame instead of the bucket and now I get a load locked down in under 5 minutes every time - what simple trick did you pick up from watching someone else work?

Man I was the same way, thought hooking from the bucket was the only way until I watched a guy do it the right way and it was like a lightbulb went off.

Wait, are you telling me there's people out there who actually hook their bait the right way on the first try? Because I've been over here for years thinking I was some kind of bait-wrangling genius by just jamming a hook into whatever worm was closest and hoping for the best. Seriously though, when I finally watched a guy do it properly with a real knot and everything, I felt like I'd been fishing wrong my whole life apparently. It's embarrassing how many fish I probably lost because my bait looked like a tangled mess barely hanging on. But hey, at least we're learning now, right? Better late than never, I guess!
