inMy neighbor watched me build a whole garden trellis from $7 of stuff and said the darndest thing
Ha! My dad said the same about my milk crate shelves, still holding.

inI figured the $600 quote to ship my Honda from Phoenix to Portland was a scam, then the guy showed up in a beat up pickup
Used to be one of those people who said you get what you pay for with car shipping, and the cheap guys were always trouble. Then my brother in law talked me into an independent hauler for his truck and it came in under half the broker quote with no damage and only one day late. The big sites look nice but you are mostly paying for the website and the phone reps, not the guy actually driving. I would still ask for a bill of lading and proof of insurance before he loads anything, but a rusty truck does not mean a bad driver.
