A gallery owner in Seattle told me my digital piece looked like a print, and it hit hard
I showed my latest digital painting at a small showcase in Seattle last month. The owner looked at it for a minute and asked if I had scanned a real canvas. I said no, it was made in Procreate. She said it had no screen glow, no brush energy, just flat layers. That made me rethink how I use texture and light. Now I add a light layer and a grain brush to every piece before I call it done. Has anyone else gotten feedback that changed how you build your files?
