A tablet at the Toledo art fair fried my drawing hand and I'm still mad about it
I was at the Toledo Museum of Art's outdoor digital showcase back in July, sketching on my tablet for a live crowd, when the thing overheated and shut off right in the middle of a portrait. I had 40 people watching and just stood there sweating with a dead screen while a guy in the front row asked if I could "just go back to paper." Now I bring a spare battery pack and a paper sketchbook everywhere, but does anyone else's tablet pull this stunt in the heat, and how are you dealing with it?
