Appreciation post: My new Wacom Cintiq 16 was worth every penny

I finally bit the bullet and spent about $650 on a Wacom Cintiq 16 after years of using a basic tablet. The difference is wild, it feels like I'm drawing right on the screen and my line work got way smoother overnight. I finished a character portrait in like half the time it usually takes me. Anyone else switch from an old tablet to a screen one and have their workflow totally change?

Yo, the real game-changer for me was how much less my wrist hurts now. Staring at the screen where my hand is instead of looking up at a monitor actually fixed my posture without me trying.

Totally agree with @karenhenderson about the posture thing. It just feels way more natural, right?

My old chiropractor said 90% of his desk patients just needed to lower their screens. It forces your spine straight when your eyes are level with your hands. Took me years to figure that out.
