I finally ditched my old Wacom tablet after 12 years

Upgraded to a screen display tablet last month and it feels like relearning how to draw. The hand-eye disconnect was messing with my linework for years and I didnt even realize it. Anyone else take forever to switch over from the old gear?

Did your friend have much luck selling their old one?

And that hand-eye thing is wild when you finally switch. I had no idea how much I was subconsciously compensating for it until I didn't have to anymore. It took me about two weeks of daily sketching to really feel natural with it.

The whole subconscious compensating thing" is exactly what got me. @mason_barnes I swear my brain was doing backflips before I switched. Felt like learning to write with my off hand all over again. Two weeks sounds about right though. I was still drawing stick figures on day 3 wondering what I got myself into.
