That $80 drawing tablet stand actually fixed my wrist pain

I spent 2 weeks hunched over my old setup with a stack of books propping up my tablet, and my carpal tunnel was getting so bad I couldn't grip my stylus properly. Finally broke down and bought one of those adjustable aluminum stands with the rubber grips, roughly $80 on Amazon last month. Figured it was a gimmick since I'd already tried a cheap $15 laptop riser that wobbled like crazy. But the angle change plus being able to tilt it vertical for sketching made a massive difference in my shoulder tension. I can now do 4 hour painting sessions without that burning ache in my forearm. The riser also has a little groove for my pen, which sounds dumb but saves me from fishing it off the floor constantly. Has anyone else found a weird piece of ergonomic gear that saved your art workflow? I'm curious if those vertical mice are actually worth the hype for digital painting.

Ha, I'm glad it worked for you, but I honestly think that's more about the angle than the price tag! I've been using a $20 folding stand from the craft store for years and my wrist pain went away just by tilting it back a bit.
