I thought more blog posts meant more traffic, then I checked my own analytics
I was publishing 4 SEO blog posts a week for 6 months and my organic traffic to Money Pages stayed flat while I pat myself on the back. Pulled up Google Search Console for my Austin client and saw 87% of my posts had zero clicks because they all chased the same 3 vague keywords I never bothered to check volume on. Anyone else waste half a year writing stuff nobody searches for?
Been there and it hurts to look back at all that wasted time. I did the same thing for almost a year, cranking out posts on whatever sounded good without ever opening a keyword tool once. Now I check search volume before I type a single word, and my hit rate is way better for way less effort.
