Found out my travel insurance covered nothing in Chiang Mai

After a motorbike spill in Chiang Mai last month, I assumed my plan would handle the clinic visit since it said 'worldwide' on the brochure. The fine print excluded any two-wheeled vehicles unless I bought a separate rider, which cost more than the whole policy. Anyone else get burned by reading the summary instead of the full contract before you leave?
