Hot take: coworking spaces in Lisbon got worse once the big chains moved in
When I got to Lisbon in 2021, I paid 90 euros a month at a tiny spot in Alfama where the owner knew everyone's name and the wifi just worked. Now that same street has three big chain spots charging 250 euros, and the vibe is totally different. People show up, take calls in the quiet room, and nobody talks to each other. The old place closed in March because it couldn't compete on price. Has anyone found a smaller coworking spot in a nomad city that still feels like a real community?
