Wheelchair ramp at my local library collapsed on me Monday

I was heading into the downtown branch in Denver around 3pm on Monday. The wooden ramp they have out back just gave way under my chair. One of the support boards snapped and I tipped sideways onto the ground. Scraped my elbow pretty good and my chair got a bent wheel from the fall. I had to yell for someone to come help me up because I couldn't reach my phone. The manager came out and said they knew the ramp was old but didn't think it was that bad. They are supposed to fix it now but I'm wondering what other buildings around here are hiding the same problem. Anyone else had a situation where a public access feature just failed on them?

That wood probably wasn't treated for outdoor use and rotted from the inside out.
