Last summer I pulled a zucchini out of my backyard in Boise that looked exactly like a hand flipping the bird, and I almost tossed it in the compost. My neighbor dared me to keep it on the porch for a week, and now I have a whole shelf of weird veggies I grew on purpose, including a carrot that looks like a tiny leg.
