Finally caved on a pegboard wall, secret is the washers under the hooks
For a year I thought pegboards looked like a workshop from 1985, not a desk setup. Then my cable tray overflowed for the 3rd time and I had router and power strip chaos under my sit/stand frame. Grabbed a 2x3 foot board from Home Depot for 16 bucks and spent a Saturday mounting it sideways behind my monitor. The trick I found on a forum: put a small washer between the peg and whatever you hang so nothing rattles or spins. Now my chargers, dongles, and even my headset sit off the desk. My desk surface went from 70% covered to maybe 20%. Anyone else mount theirs portrait instead of landscape, or is that weird?
