Pro tip: Stop buying those expensive cable snap-on covers from Amazon
I read a post last week where a guy spent $40 on a set of plastic cable raceway covers and they turned yellow in 3 months by his window. I just use adhesive-backed velcro strips from the dollar store to bundle my monitor and power cables under my desk. Anyone else found a cheap trick that works better than the fancy stuff?

Velcro strips are solid but idk, do they ever lose their stick after a while with the heat from cables? I tried something similar once and after a few months the adhesive just gave up and everything flopped down. Maybe it was just the brand I grabbed though.

Valid question, @ruby_murphy. Honestly yeah, the cheap ones from the dollar store totally do that. But I've noticed this is a thing with a lot of things these days - they make stuff kinda flimsy so you gotta rebuy it. The Velcro brand ones though? Those hold up way better. I've had some on my computer cables for like two years and they're still sticky. It's the same with phone chargers and even furniture. If you pay a little more upfront for the good stuff, it usually lasts way longer. The knockoff ones are just a waste of money and time.
