Velcro straps lost to a pair of $4 binder clips

I spent months trying to tame my monitor's power brick with velcro ties and kept hating how bulky it looked. Then I clipped the brick flat under the desk with two binder clips from the office aisle and the whole setup looks cleaner than anything I tried before. Anyone else find that the cheapest junk solves desk chaos better than the fancy stuff?
