Unpopular opinion: squeezing silicone grip tape under the back shell of my DualSense made me hate rubberized grips
Three weeks ago I cut a 2 inch strip of silicone tape and laid it under the back plate of my PS5 controller, and now my hands stay glued through hour four of Elden Ring instead of sliding around, so why does anyone still pay extra for a shell with built in grips?

Electrical tape on the inside of the shell works too, just overlap the strips a bit so they don't peel up after a few weeks. Built in grips are mostly a look thing, the tape does the same job for two bucks.
