Lowe's parking lot light trick saved my midnight workbench

Was out in the Habitat ReStore parking lot at 11pm last week loading a table saw and realized my phone flashlight was useless. A guy walking by pointed his headlamp at the saw and said 'angle it down, not at your face.' Tried it right there and the difference was wild, now I keep a $15 headlamp clipped to my shop apron all night. It's not about brightness, it's about beam direction and hands-free aiming. My basement workbench got ten times more usable for late projects. Anyone else swap their work lights after a random parking lot chat?
