DAE stop using masking tape to block out screens? My last 2 shirts bled through the edges
I used to tape off the edges of my screen with plain masking tape and it worked fine for months. Then last week I burned a 2 color job on a white Gildan and got ink bleeding under the tape on both sides, ruined 2 shirts out of 6. Switched to packing tape pressed down hard with a squeegee and the bleed stopped completely on the next run. The masking tape just isn't holding tight enough once the ink gets thin. Anyone else had masking tape fail on them mid run, and did you move to something else?
