Who else blew cash on a fancy knife that's worse than the old one?
I dropped $180 on a high-end German chef's knife from a catalog last month, and it arrived duller than my $30 Mercer I've had for 3 years. After 20 minutes of stropping and still not getting a good edge, I just went back to my old beat-up blade. How do these companies get away with selling overpriced junk to butchers like us?
