My dollar store frame wall made the whole rental feel like home, finally

Cornered 14 identical black frames from the bins over 3 visits to the Dollar Tree on Broadway, and after one brutal afternoon of leveling, the hallway looks intentional for the first time in 8 months. Has anyone else hit that weird point where cheap stuff stops looking cheap and just looks like you planned it?
