Warning: site survey in Phoenix flipped my whole dimension process
I was doing a remodel takeoff near Camelback Road and the existing columns were out of square by 3 inches, so my trusty laser measure gave me garbage numbers. Had to switch to triangulating with a tape and a chalk line on the fly, and now I double check every corner with a manual calc before I send anything to the field. Anyone else run into lazy builders who never pulled permits and how do you adjust your workflow when the as-builts are pure fiction?
