Tried a slower swing speed on the cutterhead, output went UP by 15%
Been running the same 14ft cutterhead for 6 years and always pushed max RPM, but last week I backed it off about 200 revs to reduce cavitation and the slurry density got way better, almost no loss in volume. Anyone else play with cutter speed on a sand bottom or is it just me?
