TIL my screw gun clutch was slipping on ceilings for months and a 2 second test showed it
Was doing a garage ceiling in Toledo last month and a guy on the crew told me to run a screw into scrap and listen for the click, and sure enough mine was slipping so bad I was overdriving half my screws and blaming the board for it, so now I'm wondering how many ceilings I wrecked before that, and does anyone else check their clutch setting before each room or am I the only one who skipped that?
