I thought those bagged salad kits were a ripoff until I did the math on a Tuesday night
Kept seeing the $4.50 Dole chopped kits at Kroger and figured I was paying for someone else's convenience, but after a 6pm scramble where I tossed one with leftover chicken and had dinner on the table in 8 minutes, I stopped caring about the markup. The southwest one with the little tortilla strips is now a permanent thing in my fridge. Anyone got a kit that actually holds up, or do they all wilt by day three?
