I finally found why my basement floor was sweating all winter

Everyone online kept saying it was condensation from poor airflow, so I ran dehumidifiers and fans for three months straight. After blowing $140 on hydro and zero change, I pulled up a corner of the vapor barrier and found the grading outside my backyard was sloping toward the foundation near 118 Avenue. Fixed the slope with two bags of gravel and a tamper, and the wet patch dried out within 48 hours. Anyone else had a 'condensation' problem that turned out to be a simple grading fix?
