That $18 caulk gun from Home Depot changed my baseboard game
I always thought any caulk gun worked the same, so I kept buying the cheap $6 ones. Then I overheard a contractor at the South Edmonton Home Depot say the ratchet rod on cheap guns makes your hand cramp and gives you wavy beads. Picked up a dripless one on sale and did my whole living room baseboards in 2 hours without one smudge. Anyone else notice a huge difference with better finishing tools or is it just me?

Two hours for baseboards sounds like a dream, my last caulk job left my hand looking like a claw for a day and a half. The wavy bead thing is real though, I did my bathroom trim with a cheap gun and it looked like a toddler drew it. Maybe I finally have an excuse to stop buying the six dollar ones.
