Hit 500 elevator recalls this month without missing a single one

I was going through my logbook last night and realized I hit 500 callback repairs this month without a single repeat visit. That's 500 times I went out, fixed the issue, and never heard back about the same problem. It caught me off guard because I usually just grind through the week without keeping score. Anyone else ever tally up their numbers and surprise yourself?

Buddy of mine kept a tally for a year and hit four hundred without a callback either... said he got a weird sense of pride out of it.

500 is a serious number, and it says a lot about how you treat your work. @jade226 's buddy proves the same thing, it's not just luck. I've noticed this pattern in other trades too, like mechanics or plumbers who take the extra few minutes to do it right the first time. A lot of people rush through the day and end up creating more work for themselves later. You're clearly not one of those people, and that kind of pride in a job well done is getting rare.
