Man I totally get what you mean. I remember when I hit my 500th weld and I thought I'd feel this huge sense of pride or something, but it was just quiet. Like you expect a big moment but it's really just another day in the shop, you know? The real feeling hit me later when I walked past a piece I'd done months before and it was still holding strong.
