Pro tip: Spent $300 on a backup fiber line, got burned when they buried the cable wrong
I paid $300 a month for a secondary fiber connection from a local ISP in Austin as a safety net. Two months in, a construction crew cut the main line, and the backup died too because they buried both cables in the same ditch. I called support, and they said, 'Yeah, that happens a lot.' Anyone else have redundant lines that failed in the same spot?

That ditch probably saved you from paying for two lines you didn't need anyway.
