A client told me my extraction technique was too rough after a bad breakout reaction.
She came back with red marks that took a week to fade, so I switched to using lighter pressure and prepping with a warm compress first. Has anyone else had to dial back their pressure after getting complaints?

Sounds like you caved way too easily honestly.

You know what, I used to think the same way honestly. There was this time my friend wanted to bail on a group trip at the last minute and I pushed back hard, told her she was being flaky and needed to stick to the plan. But then she explained her anxiety was really bad and she was scared of messing up the whole thing for everyone. That conversation kind of shifted my whole view on it, made me realize sometimes giving in isn't about being weak but about keeping the bigger picture in mind. It's not always about winning or losing the argument, sometimes it's about not making things worse for everyone else involved.
