Vent: A client in Tampa last week had a reaction to a new serum I was trying, and it made me rethink my whole patch test process.

Patch tests are supposed to happen BEFORE the full service, not during it. That's their whole point. Using a new product directly on a client is a huge risk, no matter how small the test area seems. A reaction on the face is much worse than one behind the ear. This should be a basic rule for everyone's safety.

Ugh, that's rough. @elizabeth_martin is right, it feels like people skip basic safety steps everywhere now, doesn't it?
