Remember when we all used to print out directions from MapQuest?

I tried using my old Garmin Nuvi on a trip to Cleveland last month just for nostalgia, and it was a mess compared to Google Maps. The real-time traffic and lane guidance on my phone saved me from a 45 minute backup on I-90. Anyone else have a similar old piece of tech they tried to go back to?
