Grandma's cornbread recipe - butter in the pan or in the batter?
My grandmother always melted butter in the cast iron before pouring the batter in. My wife says to mix it into the batter instead. We argued about it last Sunday while making cornbread for a family dinner at her parents' place in Ohio. Which side is right?
