Spent 3 hours trying to cancel a subscription last night

I couldn't find the cancel button anywhere on the website so I called their support line and got bounced between three different departments. How is it legal for companies to make quitting harder than signing up?

Calling your credit card company to block them worked for me.

Yeah just a heads up, blocking the charge is different from a chargeback. Some banks will still let the payment go through if it's already pending.
