Just found my old Zune HD in a box... and it's a brick now

I spent like $250 on it back in 2009, thinking it was the future. Tried to fire it up yesterday and the battery is completely shot, won't hold a charge for more than 2 minutes. I guess after 15 years in a drawer, that's what happens... Anyone know if it's even worth trying to find a replacement battery for these things, or is it a lost cause?

I saw a forum post last year where someone found a third party battery for the Zune HD on iFixit. The process looked pretty involved, needing special tools and a steady hand. Honestly, for the time and money, you're probably better off just keeping it as a museum piece.
