Safety gear really is no joke. I knew someone who thought goggles were optional for grinding metal, and now they have a permanent speck in their eye. Another friend skipped a hard hat on a site visit and nearly got knocked out by a falling branch. Those little moments of laziness can change everything. It's scary how fast things go wrong. Guess some folks need a close call to take it seriously.
