PSA: Stop sealing your old Game Boy cartridges with super glue

I see so many posts where people use super glue to fix cracked cartridge shells and it drives me bonkers. If you ever need to open it again to clean the contacts or swap the battery, you'll just crack the plastic worse trying to pry it apart. Use a tiny bit of epoxy or even just clear tape on the seams instead. Has anyone else ruined a good game this way?

Dude I learned that one the hard way with my copy of Pokemon Crystal. Tried to super glue a hairline crack on the back and next time the battery died I had to basically chisel the thing open. Took a chunk out of the shell and now it looks like a dog chewed on it. I just use a piece of scotch tape now if the shell is loose or a tiny dab of e6000 if i need to actually seal something. Makes life way easier when you gotta resolder that little battery down the road.

Same here, I glued my Game Boy Color shut and had to crack it open with a butter knife.
