Spent 4 hours trying to figure out why my forum thread kept getting flagged as spam.
Turns out the word 'discussion' in the title triggered the auto-mod because I used it three times, which I only found out after emailing the site admin directly.

Heard about a forum banning the word "update" last week.

Yeah, "triggered the auto-mod" is the worst. I read a blog post about how these filters often catch totally normal words just because they get repeated. Makes you wonder how many legit posts get blocked over silly stuff like that.
