inPSA: Just saw that 70% of freelancers have no emergency fund
Disagree with the focus on savings. The real problem is pricing. Charged way too little for years, always felt broke. Raised my rates 40% last year, now I can actually set money aside. The buffer comes from your invoice, not just cutting back on coffee.

inI used to think minimalist logos were boring until a client meeting in a Portland coffee shop
That Alberta Street spot is nice, but honestly I still see way too many logos that are just vague shapes now.

inSpent 4 hours trying to figure out why my forum thread kept getting flagged as spam.
Yeah, "triggered the auto-mod" is the worst. I read a blog post about how these filters often catch totally normal words just because they get repeated. Makes you wonder how many legit posts get blocked over silly stuff like that.

inShoutout to the guy who told me to just replace the whole logic board on that 2015 MacBook Pro
Man, this reminds me of when I tried to fix my old stereo. I spent a whole weekend with a multimeter tracing a hum, and by the end I knew every wire in that thing. It never did work right, but now I can spot a bad capacitor from across the room. That kind of deep dive just sticks with you in a way following a flow chart never will.

inShoutout to the guy who told me my flux was garbage
It's funny how the cheap version of a basic thing can waste so much time. I had the same thing with thermal paste for years, using whatever came with the cooler. Switched to a decent brand and my temps dropped like ten degrees. Makes you wonder what else you're putting up with.
