My neighbor's fence is a foot over my property line and he won't talk to me

About three months ago, I had my land surveyed before putting in a small shed. The surveyor, a guy named Dave from Boundary Pros, found that the wooden fence my neighbor put up last year is a full foot onto my side. I tried to talk to my neighbor about it twice last week, but he just says 'it's fine' and closes his door. I'm in Ohio, and I don't want to start a big fight, but it's my land. Has anyone had to deal with something like this without going straight to a lawyer? What steps did you take first?

Wait, he just says "it's fine" and closes the door? That's wild (and honestly kind of rude). A whole foot is a lot, it's not like it's an inch you could maybe ignore.

Right? A whole foot is crazy. I had a delivery guy leave a huge box literally blocking my stairs and just drove off. Honestly some people just do not care at all.
