My coat became a rock museum after one too many hikes

Began stuffing my pockets with cool stones on walks. Forgot all about them. Threw the coat in the wash. The dryer drum had a fresh sediment layer. Pretty absurd sight.

Watch how tiny bits of life collect in pockets and corners until they become a problem. My entire house works like that, just a slow build up of receipts and loose change in every junk drawer. Your rock collection just upgraded to a geological event.

Actually, that buildup is the whole point. It's not a problem, it's proof of life. Those receipts tell stories of where you've been, and loose change adds up to something real. Even rocks aren't just clutter, they're little memories of a hike or a beach trip. Calling it a mess just misses the history in all of it.
